Aisha Farooq is a new business woman in Dubai with an innovative vision

People in Dubai will now be able to enjoy the iconic French “Salons de Thé”, “Chocolatiers”, “Boulangeries”, and “Patisseries”.

Chef Eric and his partner in business and in life Aisha Farook visited Dubai end of this October. They fell in love with the authenticity of the city and warm welcome by the local communities and its residents. There is no other place we would be but Dubai, commented Chef Eric. I can see so much potential in Dubai he added. I would like to be a part of the Dubai’s development and that is when Chef Eric and Aisha decided to open up a French Patisserie restaurant. The place is yet to be confirmed, but it won’t take long before you will be able to enjoy famous creations by Chef Eric, some of which take up to 6 month to create.

A French citizen, with over 45 years of experience, originally from the Champagne Ardennes, “Companion” du tour de France. Currently the Executive Pastry Chef for more than one year at the Serena Hotel in Islamabad. His experience include working with various internationally recognised one to three Michelin stars restaurants across the globe. Champs-Élysées, is the name of the restaurant, and it aims to bring the same authentic experience to the UAE. The inspiration came from The Avenue des Champs-Élysées, a fixture on the list of the French capital’s top attractions.

In addition to overseeing kitchen operations in Dubai’s Fine Dinning Champs-Elysees restaurant, chef Eric will host the “Creative in Cooking” French cooking classes. Some classes will be paid and some will be organised for community members free of cost.
